Where Insanity Lingers

*looks around wildly* When the hell did that happen? Wasn't it just turning 2011?

So, new year, means new goals and looking back over last years.... do I hafta? Cause I sucked on last years. *pouts*

For those who don't know, I don't do the resolution thing, I set goals for the year. Something a little easier to measure. *shrugs*

*sigh* So, still not feeling well at the beginning of the week put a crick in my writing plans. But, I only work four days this week and have a road trip during which I can write so here's hoping for a better week. Plus, the newest full time manager is taking over the visuals which my brain gets a break from that and I only have to concentrate on my job... and some training of the newest part time manager. *sigh* Seriously, hope we're done with this manager training thing since holiday is coming up and my hands will be full.

So last week's goals:

- Finish writing chp 1 of Riptide (working title for the Undertow sequel) and hopefully chp 2

- Write the first two scenes of a Buffy/Dresden fic that's been percolating for around a year.


What I got done - Finished chp 1... and that's it.

So week 2's goals:

- Chp 2 & 3 of Riptide

- First two scenes of Buffy/Dresden.

Sorry it took me so long getting this up, but I spent New Year's Day recovering and watching a marathon of Supernatural in effort to get a friend caught up. She's still a bit behind, but it's better than what it was.

So, my goals for the new year. For those not in the know, I chose to do goals rather than resolutions mostly because of the connotation. Resolution seems to be unreachable and daunting, while goals are something to strive for.
