Alright Chickadees, I'm attempting to participate in the August Fic a Day Challenge for

twistedshorts again this year. I know there is no way in hell that I can do all 31 days. Partially because I'm camping during that month and I will literally be hours away from any sort of signal. Seriously. I can't even get a roaming signal on my phone for the last 2.5 hours of the drive. :)

But I would like to participate partially. I know I can at least get 5 posted because of the

tamingthemuse prompts for August, and I'm currently writing an extra fic right now that I can save until then. What I'm hoping for is 10 fics, that's two a week. One more than what I've been writing now.

Only trouble is, I'm a little short on inspiration. I'm not asking for actual prompts, what I'm looking for is inspiration. Give me a quote, a picture, a song, something like that. I do not want characters, situations, or pairings. Just something to give my muse a boost. :)

So, I'm kind of thinking of participating in the August Fic A Day challenge. There's no way i'll be able to do all 31, but I'd like to get a few out there anyway. Plus, I'll be internetless for a few days while camping. But I'm hoping for 10 - 15 fics to be written. *crosses fingers* I will post them both here and on the LJ community.

But if anyone would like to give me a prompt or two, I will see what I can do. I'm hoping to kickstart my muse this month into working a little more fully on bigger stuff. Just remember, since this is for TtH, in order for it to count, it has to cross with Buffy. I think the other Jossverses count, I just don't write in them much. :)

Hello all!

So I know I disappeared after getting three fics up for the August Fic a Day. Suffice to say, Miss Thing still wasn't sleeping through the night and I haven't truly slept in 8 months and my sleeping abilities got so screwed up I couldn't sleep when Miss Thing did and I snapped a little. *shrugs* Anywho, got that fixed (much faster than I thought, who knew just shutting her door at night would work) and I've actually managed to only wake up once last night. (course, the fact that I have pink eye again may have had something to do with it) So, I believe I'm ready to start writing again.

Here's my dilemma. I still have 13 wishlist fics left, but only five fit the Fic A Day requirements. So I'm gonna write those five and while I may work on the other 8 this month, they won't be a priority until next month. So I'm asking for prompts, but there are restrictions.

I have no illusions that I'll be able to post everyday, so I don't need a ton of prompts.

-You can have 1 prompt. If you give me more than one, I'll just choose which one I like best and do it.

-It has to be a crossover and characters that I write. If they are unfamiliar or not something I do a lot of writing in, I probably won't write it.

-No femslash. I just don't write it. And even slash might be iffy. It would have to be a pairing I like.

Alright, here goes nothing... :)

So I'm gonna try to do the August Fic-A-Day challenge for TtH. We'll see how it goes. I'll just be happy if I can get through those last 16 fics I owe for the Wishlist 2010. I'm not going to post them here because I don't want to overload everyone's flist with my fics. You can read them at:
