100 Things - Day 8

Yes, one day, I will get my shit together and be on top of things. Of course, that will be the day the world collapses.

Continuing with the He-Man theme from the last post...

So we have introduced her to She-Ra as well, and she likes it, but is definitely more interested in He-Man. And she gets a real kick every time he transforms from Prince Adam into He-Man. So much so, that today while I was getting ready for work, she was playing in the bathroom and managed to get my swiffer duster off the shelf. I hear her mumbling something, so I stop and listen a little harder and she starts talking louder. Next thing I know, she comes around the corner, holding the swiffer duster high and saying. "I have power!" Then continues doing this repeatedly. Ocassionally throwing in, "By Greyskull. I have power!" *shakes head*

Also, was fixing pepperoni rolls yesterday and she was 'helping'. She had her own little bit of dough to play with and a few slices of pepperoni. She was kneading/stretching the dough, imitating me. Then suddenly she's pushing the dough on the table trying to stretch it out saying, "Come on He-Man!" *facepalm* I laughed so hard. Then of course, all night any time she was doing something 'tough' (like trying to open a cabinet door that had child safety locks) she would keep saying it.

I think I need to find her a new show to watch...

Aw, but she's so darned adorable doing all of this stuff! Though, frankly, I'm a bit partial because she's a kid after my own heart; though my idol of the sort was The Mighty Hercules and his little centaur buddy Newton (yep, I'm that old).

it is rather adorable, which is what's saving her when she starts driving me nuts. lol

It is a bit of a nostalgia run. :D

And for once, I'm too young for the Might Hercules. I'm not even sure I've heard of it. *winces* sorry.

LOL! I went and looked it up for nostalgia's sake and kind of wished I hadn't. The animation and dialog was rock bottom, even below the worst of Hannah Barbera's efforts. Some things should be left as childhood's fond memories!
