Seriously, if you're gonna renovate your house and decide to pull out the molding to do whatever with it. For the love of God, don't use three times as many nails than you necessarily need to put it back up. Cause they are a pain in the ass.
And don't listen to the hubby when he says - "Oh no, only a small part of the left side of the garage leaks. The molding will be fine on the ride side of the garage." Grrrrr.... Soaked molding. Has taken days to dry enough for me to work on again.
So yeah, still no kitchen. Seriously, my stove is in the dining room and I haven't had a home cooked meal in over a week. I'm sick of pizza...

on 2009-05-01 09:17 pm (UTC)And we don't actually own a camp stove. What little we do cook when we go camping is done on the grill. Hmmmm.... grill.... ooohhh, that sounds yummy....

(Oh, and I'm not sure if you watched the TW S3 Trailer - but there's a quick little bit of video with Captain Jack in a blue t-shirt and grey pants...its kinda hot...but odd.)

on 2009-05-02 04:51 am (UTC)However, hubby removed some of the ornamental molding for the doors (something i eventually wanted to do, just not now). Thankfully, it was just the ones that sit on the floor. I now have evidence that either the baseboard molding has been pulled, stripped, repainted and put back up or it's not the original molding from the house. Cause the ornamental molding (which is original) has all sorts of different colors of paint under the wine color. Plus, I think it was stained. Either that, or it's not pine. I'm seriously hoping it's not pine cause in order to get the stain out of the ridges of the molding is gonna be a pain.
But I have Sunday off, hubby has Monday off, and I get off work at 1:30 since it's a shipment day and we'll have a full complement of managers then. So hopefully....
I close Saturday night so I'll probably just eat at Subway... again... *sigh* I was super bad this evening and got Long John's. oops? Thankfully the tummy hasn't protested yet. *crosses fingers some more*
Oh, and I watched the trailer. Dude, did you watch that frame by frame, cause they showed him in that get up for like a split second, but you're totally right. :D

on 2009-05-02 02:47 pm (UTC)And hey, Subway - totally not bad for you. Doesn't beat a homecooked meal, but seriously - still good.
I was actually told about that part of the trailer on one of the Janto comms I frequent. I was amazed, when I actually saw it. :D
((I hate you now, cause I think I'm gonna have to go get subway...I gots me a craving. Damnit.))
