Ahhh, Simon, from back in my early days of LJ and learning how to photo manip and make icons. I just adore Firefly and all the characters, but seriously I know how Simon felt in the Jaynestown ep because I have been there, frequently. And he's just too adorable here. :)
My poor plot bunny. I swear this one is all avamclean's fault. I have still failed to learn to not mention stray ideas to her because she starts asking questions and feeding the tiny little baby bunny until it's a full-blown fatty rabbit who won't be quiet and begs to be written. But I still adore her and her plot bunny feeding ways. ;)
The Princess Bride, far and away my favorite movie ever. I know every word, every piece of music. And I adore Westly and what he endures for the idiot Buttercup. I even adore the book.
Again, The Princess Bride. Miracle Max and his wife is what my husband and are going to become one day, I swear it. But I love them cheerfully waving and wishing the motley group good luck even as they mutter under their breathe about how they don't stand a chance. I honestly made those two icons because I had stumbled across some screencaps and decided I had to have some icons. :)
Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. Came into this fandom by way of the show first and now that I've read the books, they are far superior. However, I do picture Paul Blackthorne in my head as I read no matter what description Jim Butcher gives us. And incidentally, I own the audio books as well and now I hear James Marsters voice as Harry even as I picture Paul. *shivers delightfully* But as usual, when I dive into writing a new fandom I try to dig up or create some icons to fit my posts and had made this out of a promo shot for the short lived show.

*gigglesnort* Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. Love, love, love this movie/web show. And I nearly lost it when Nathan uttered that line and is one of my favorite from the show. I can't claim to making this one, mal_contentum did, but when I saw it, I had to have it. Even now, I'm giggling as I type this up as I keep picturing Captain Hammer in Dr. Horrible's face.
My love of Harrison Ford and Indiana Jones is definitely no secret. I adore that man and the character. And say what you will about George Lucas and Steven Speilberg, but there were some gorgeous shots in those movies and my favorites were always the distinctive shadows and silouhettes. And I made this icon in honor of the fourth movie coming out... which I did rather like, it had some nice moments. Not my favorite, but wasn't my least favorite either. What? Don't judge. :)
*thud* James Marsters as Captain John Hart on Torchwood. Love, love, love his character on the show and the sexual tension between him and Jack. As soon as he had made an appearance on the show I knew I needed an icon but by that time I was rather out of the icon making habit so did the surfing and found this one by starsburn.
Doctor Who - Nine and Rose after she had looked into the TARDIS. Christopher Eccleston played Nine and really pulled me into the show, having only vague ideas of what it was about. He was dark and just a little manic, not like the ones to follow. Not that it was a bad thing, but Christopher had just the right tone to get me hooked and ready for the ones to follow. And I was a Doctor/Rose shipper from damn near the third episode.
*sniffles* This one makes me sad every time I think about it, but I refuse to remove it from my list. I actually made this one for 'sita when she had joined LJ and needed a default icon. Daniel was her favorite and I dug through my meager pic collection at the time to find the perfect look for her. She loved it and I miss her every day. *sniffles again*
