COA Awards
Jan. 11th, 2009 09:55 pmJust wanted to take a moment to thank all those who nominated me for the COA Awards on TtH. I'm overwhelmed by the fact that Undertow got nominated for three different awards - Best Stargate Crossover, Best Portrayal of Buffy, and Best Pairing (het) for Buffy/Jack. Seriously, I sometimes worried over whether I finished it or not, and the fact that I had readers from start to finish of the fic, and that someone even nominated it in so many categories is rather humbling.
I did turn down a nomination, mostly because the fic was super old and is no longer a good representation of my writing. Plus, it didn't really fit the category. But I am appreciative that the person thought of me.
Plus, two other fics got nomm'd - Connections: Official and Unofficial (which was admittedly surprising since that was the first time I wrote in that fandom), and the same with Damsel Drama.
So thanks to those who nominated me, and those who vote.
