Oh, good, I'm not too late! I saw the title in my email notification after being offline for a few days and was sure I'd lost out.

Okey dokey, let's see... Ah! I got it!!!

Paul Davis/Harry Dresden (or Karin Murphy, if you want to go post "Changes"), gen fic, "Oh, God, the disasters just get bigger and weirder with the promotion." (Yes, please promote our Major Disaster Davis to Lieutenant Colonel Storm Crow Davis.)

Or, you could go with Supernatural and pair Paul Davis with Dean Winchester (that one could be slash, if you like *g*) with the same quote.

ETA: or, thirdly, you could go with Faith/Paul Davis (can definitely be a pairing). Faith's motorcycle breaks down on her way to the most recent apocalypse and Paul Davis is the one who picks her up and gets pulled into the weird that is the Buffyverse.

Um...so...I'm thinking Buffy/SG1 (you can pick characters - whatever is best for you). And ...a prompt...
