Thank you my dear. I think you're the only one who didn't comment that she didn't lie to him. As if I couldn't tell. I had phrased that last bit on purpose. I mean the prompt was deceit. But it could also work that she's deceiving herself as well. I mean, Buffy has always hated the fact that she has to hide who she really is. At the beginning of season four she was a bit upset that she had to be secret identity girl again, and she hated lying to Riley. I always believed that subconsciously she wanted to tell everyone, but knew she couldn't. So she is lying, but she isn't. Ok, I'm rambling now. Think I might stop there before I go into full rant mode. That will be saved for my author notes at the beginning of the next part. :)
