Comment Fic Prompting
Hello all! *waves*
Gonna try and flex my writing muscles. I'm taking prompts just please keep it within my more typical fandoms. For those who may be new, just look over at my tags, they should give you a good idea of what I usually write. They can be pairings or not, crossovers or not.
I'll write you something. I don't want to set any limits since I'm just trying to get the muse to cooperate. So some may only get a few sentences, others a few paragraphs. It's all gonna depend on the muse.
So please, prompt away!

To encourage your attempts, I am leaving a prompt. (I'll have you know that narrowing it down to just one pairing was horrendous since you've written so many that I love... so I'm leaving two. *mwah*)
Buffy/Gibbs - Coffee; office; "You Are My Sunshine" (the line or something from the song...) You can use all or just one.
Buffy/(Choose one: Jack, Daniel, Cam) - "There really is something about a man in uniform..."
I'm all about options. Good luck, Pol - and your muse.
The Bounce
Tony frowned as he watched Gibbs step off the elevator and enter the bullpen. There was something... off about the older man's gait. He was dressed in typical Gibbs fashion so that wasn't throwing anything off, and the ever present coffee cup was in his hand. The smirk was... not there!
That was it! There was a soft smile, not a smirk, or even a frown.
Accompanying that smile was the tiniest hint of a bounce in his step. It was obvious now that he could pair the two odd occurences together.
Tony's brow furrowed to join his frown. Bossman never had a bounce to his step. Something was up. He shared a look with Ziva and knew they would be comparing notes as soon as they were left alone.
The chance never came as the hours dragged on as they worked on finalizing the reports from their most recent case. Just when Tony thought the desire to know what was going on was going to drive him crazy, the elevator to their floor dinged and out stepped their so-called witness from their last case.
Buffy had a soft smile on her face that matched Gibbs and she hummed what sounded like “You Are My Sunshine” as she made her way over the team. She carried two cups of coffee in cups that looked like they came from Gibbs' usual diner.
“Hey, you,” she said, perching herself on the edge of Gibbs' desk and handing him one of the coffees. “Thought you might be in need of a refill.”
Even from Tony's seat across the room, he could see the twinkle in those blue eyes as he looked up at the blonde beauty and replied, “Always.”
Tony fought the urge to squeak and really couldn't wait to discuss this new development with Ziva.

Re: The Bounce
I think part of Tony's problem is that some of the writers make him a caricature of himself - all movie quotes and no substance. Which is a shame cause he has all sorts of interesting layers to explore. :)
Re: The Bounce
I liked that nod to the last JLC episode and also the nod to the way Tony and Ziva (and McGee) were discussing that bounce in it.
I now have this picture of each of the team members seeing the two of them interact and then passing on the news so they can all discuss and debate. It's cute.
That Buffy makes Gibbs smile and puts a twinkle in his eye and that he obviously does the same for her is all I need to know.
Excellent use of prompts and it's happy and {{{{{{{{{{YOU}}}}}}}}}}}.
